In Spring 2020 I am teaching

Much of this is part of the MSc in Cyber Security, which has a GCHQ accreditation.

I took over in 2017-18 as the director of this course. The slides I used for the welcome week presentation are also available.

I am also director for the Year in Computer Science programme. The slides I used for welcome week are here. If you are interested in studying computer science for a year as part of your degree at Birmingham, please get in touch.

Here is a copy of my teaching and office timetable. My office hours are currently (autumn 2019) 1100-1200 on Wednesdays and 1400-1500 on Wednesday.

I am available for project students between 1400 and 1600 on Tuesdays and 1500 and 1700 on Thursday for drop-ins, and on Mondays and Fridays by appointment.

You can contact me by email, by telephone on +44 (0) 121 414 9195, or in Room 132 in the Computer Science building (Y9) on the Edgbaston campus.

I am interested in supervising undergraduate and MSc projects in the areas of security, networking, random number generation and IPv6.
